5 – Norwegian Forest
Of natural origin and originally from Norway, as its name implies, this breed has a long and thick coat, while guaranteeing protection against low temperatures.
Despite their cute appearance, these cats were the companion of choice for Vikings in the Middle Ages. They are athletic cats, with a strong, slender build and a long, thin tail. They have a head similar in shape to an equilateral triangle, with high and pointed ears, from which tufts of hair come out from the inside. Adult males can weigh from 8 to 12 kg.
