6 – Turkish van
The Turkish Van is a highly intelligent, athletic and active white cat. It is not a breed that likes to be held and cuddled very much, in conclusion, they are independent and love their own space.
It is a breed that originated in Turkey, in the regions of Lake Van, which is why it receives its name. In fact, it is part of the few natural breeds in the world, being selected only by nature. A striking feature of these cats refers to their coat, which despite having a white base, has red markings on the tail and head.
Surprisingly, the Turkish Van is a breed of cat that has no problems with water, so much so that they love to swim. Their body structure allows them to do this very naturally, even though their weight can reach up to 8 kg.
