This cat breed is very popular in the United States, although there are several theories about its origin, it is believed that its development occurred in the Maine region. A large cat, with an elongated body, weighing up to 11 kg. However, the average adult male is approximately 7.5 kg. Despite all the characteristics of large dimensions of this breed, what is most impressive is the size of its mustache, the largest ever recorded, reaching a total of 16.5 cm.
