2 – Ragdoll
The Ragdoll gets its name (English translation: rag doll) because of its tendency to go limp while being held. It is a cat with a large and athletic structure, so some males manage to reach the 15 kg mark. In addition, it can be three times the size of other cats.
The Ragdoll breed emerged from the crossing of a white Angora with other long-haired breeds that had characteristics of the Siamese. In this way, we have a cat with intense blue eyes and soft, silky fur. It also has punctual coloring, such that its face, ears, legs and tail are darker than the rest of its body.
Despite its more robust structure, it is a very docile and loving breed, they are considered as the “dog of cats”, since they love to follow their owners and be close to people as much as possible.
